Biography
I’m a senior bioinformatician SequAna - Sequencing Analysis Core Facility, University of Konstanz, Germany, and associate professor at Ain Shams University, Egypt. i passed several foreign stays at Western universities and scientific institutions, particularly in Italy, Spain, and the Czech Republic. Currently, i voluntarily co-chair the pilot project of the African BioGenome Project (AfricaBP).
Also, I have other small projects in progress to study microRNAs and transcriptome of different species and tissues. I have experience in NGS data analysis and big data analysis. My solid experience in the shell script, Python, and R programming, allows me to perform high-performance computing (HPC) for big data and to develop my scripts and in-house pipelines.
