Biography
Prof. Dr. Tamer Abdallah Sharaf is a Professor of Physics and Nanotechnology at the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University. His research interests focus on nanotechnology, plasmonics, advanced materials, spectroscopy, and solar cell applications, with particular emphasis on innovative nanomaterials for energy and sensing technologies. He has contributed to several interdisciplinary research projects involving nanoparticles, Raman spectroscopy, and nanostructured materials for biomedical and renewable energy applications. In addition to his academic and research activities, Prof. Sharaf is actively involved in higher education development, scientific innovation, and program coordination. He has also served as a Research Visitor at Duke University, strengthening international collaborations in advanced materials and nanoscience research.
